All my fly rods are made using the
highest quality imported Tonkin cane. Every rod is designed and
made with the customer in mind. All the bamboo is hand planed. I
do NOT use milling machines. Every detail of the rod-making process
is done with the highest in workmanship to insure the finished rod
is the best it can be.
I have to admit it. I stand on the
shoulders of giants. All my rod tapers are specifically selected
from historic, proven tapers that were created by other master rod
builders from decades past. I have taken these tapers and modify
them in ways that make for great modern fly rods.
All rods come with nickel silver ferrules
and reel seats, and an agate stripping guide.
I can change the length and line weight
on these rods. Let’s talk about what you want!
3 Weight Rods:
Model 12T, 7’0”, 3 piece, 3 weight: This is the rod
you want if you ever dreamed of a light weight, small stream rod
that can actually throw 50’ of line when needed. My most requested
4-5 Weight Rods:
Model 16-2, 7’0”, 2 piece, 4 weight: A beautifully casting
dry fly rod. This rod has crisp action that throws small dry flies
Model G-G Deluxe: 7’6”,
2 piece, 4 weight: A moderate flex, light rod that casts best with
a relaxed casting style.
Model 3L, 7’6”, 2 piece,
5 weight: A moderate flex rod that really protects light tippets.
Model 413, 8’0”, 2 piece,
5 weight: Power that is surprising for a 5 weight. This rod throws
small and large flies, and rolls casts extremely well. Casts with
all the accuracy you need.
6 Weight Rods:
Model 3H, 8’6”, 2 piece, 6 weight: This rod really has
power! I caught many 12 -15lb. silver salmon in Alaska on this rod.
